The I.E.

The Inland Empire or I.E. is located on the eastern end of the Greater Los Angeles Area.  The Inland Empire has several of the oldest cities in the region: Ontario, Riverside, San Bernardino and Upland. Many of these areas have grown due its available land and revitalization initiatives.  At the turn of the century the Inland Empire were major centers of agriculture including citrus, dairy, and wine-making.  As in many communities the Inland Empire was first used in the 1950s to distinguish itself from the surrounding communities.
